Job Description Overview: Avid Healthcare Services is hiring a Physical Therapist You will be responsible for the physical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of assigned patients. We have Per Diem work available!! Position: Physical Therapist Requirements may include: Current Vocational License Valid Drivers License Pass Background Check Current Neg. PPD or Chest X-Ray Current CPR/BLS Certification Administer various types of physical therapy Teach the disabled the fundamentals of self-care and other suitable activities Interpret physical therapy treatments to nurses, attendants, and patients, and teach others the treatment which must be continued after hospitalization Prepare reports and keep records and case histories Analyze situations accurately and take effective action. Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Maintain accurate patient medical records Qualifications: Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Qualified applicants are eligible for: Flexible hours/Scheduling/Per Diem Competitive Pay Direct Deposit available 24 hour on-call services Travel Incentives (if applicable) Generous referral bonuses Shift Days range from Monday-Sunday All Shifts This is NOT a travel position 2 weekend days/month availability is required. (2 Saturdays, 2 Sundays or Sat/Sun) Assignments are located & required in both Downtown Sacramento & Elk Grove locations Scheduled days/shifts & location are based on the facility needs Both facilities are open seven (7) days a week.
