As a Shift Leader at our Santa Barbara store located at 430 State Street, Santa Barbara CA 93101 , you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to "Own the Night" (and beyond) by predicting the flow of business during a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership style should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. Provide exceptional customer service and quality products to all guests during their experience in our bakery. Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating relevant information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in training and coaching team members. Ensure a safe, clean working environment for guests and staff, adhering to safe food handling practices. Manage cash handling and deposits. DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role. Experience with Point of Sale systems. Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills. Detail-oriented and results-driven. Ability to lead by example and motivate others. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Legally eligible to work in the United States.
