About the Role:
Argan Home Care in Port Charlotte, FL is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a PRN/Part-Time basis. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in home settings in accordance with physician-directed care plans
• Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and progress notes
• Administer medications, wound care, and other skilled nursing treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team regarding patient conditions and changes
• Educate patients and caregivers on health management, medications, and safety
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Florida
• Previous home health or clinical nursing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of skilled nursing procedures, medication administration, and wound care
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a strong sense of professionalism
