ABOUT BIG WATT DIGITAL

Big Watt Digital is a mission-critical infrastructure platform developing and operating next-generation, high-density data center campuses built for the demands of AI and advanced digital workloads. Our model brings together large-scale power, digital infrastructure, development execution, and operational discipline to deliver speed, certainty, and scalability.
WHY BIG WATT DIGITAL:

We are building at the intersection of energy, data centers, AI infrastructure, and large-scale development—where execution matters.
THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a strategic Director of Operations Scheduling & Planning to architect and master-plan the operational rhythm and maintenance execution across our regional data center portfolio. Reporting to executive operations leadership, you will govern the operational change management process, ensuring every maintenance event, system retrofit, and live-environment modification is flawlessly vetted, scheduled, and executed without disrupting uptime. You will serve as the conductor of facility operations, balancing high-risk maintenance windows with strict customer SLAs and concurrent maintainability standards.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Change Management Governance:

Own the Operational Change Management engine. Standardize technical writing, dual sign-off reviews, and execution approvals for Method of Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and Emergency Operating Procedure (EOP) documents.
Risk Window Orchestration:

Define Low, Medium, and Critical risk maintenance windows. Coordinate multi-site maintenance calendars to prevent overlapping risks and guarantee concurrent maintainability across critical electrical and mechanical loops.
Integrated Outage & Maintenance Master Planning:

Partner with Reliability Engineers and Facility Managers to translate CMMS/EAM preventive maintenance tasks into seamless, optimized daily, weekly, and annual shift execution plans.
Customer SLA Alignment:

Serve as the primary operational buffer between site engineering teams and customer-facing delivery leads, ensuring planned maintenance schedules align strictly with tenant SLA commitments.
Contingency & Workload Redirection:

Develop workload redirection and contingency scheduling frameworks for force majeure events, sudden weather disruptions, or unexpected system impairments.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

First 90 days:

Standardize MOP/SOP/EOP authoring and approval workflows across all campuses; establish regional Change Advisory Board (CAB) review cadence.
First 6 months:

Eliminate maintenance-related operational conflicts and achieve 100% adherence to planned maintenance windows across all critical loops.
First 12 months:

Optimize annual maintenance scheduling to improve maintenance resource efficiency by 25% while maintaining 100% uptime SLA performance.
WHAT YOU BRING

15+ years in mission-critical facility planning, outage management, or operational risk scheduling within hyperscale data centers or complex industrial plants.
Deep knowledge of technical MOP/SOP authoring, 3-way documentation frameworks, and strict change management governance.
Proven track record of running centralized operational scheduling across multi-site, 24/7/365 campus deployments.
EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS

B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent military nuclear/mission-critical experience. PMP or Project Management certifications preferred.

EXECUTE
