Waterpark Operations Manager

Broadwell Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Waterpark Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our waterpark facility in Oswego, NY. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, enjoyable, and efficient environment for guests and staff while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily waterpark operations, including scheduling, staff supervision, and guest services.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Train, motivate, and develop a team of employees to deliver excellent customer service.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and maintain cleanliness of the waterpark to uphold quality standards.
• Monitor inventory and supplies, placing orders as necessary to support operations.
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare and manage operational reports and budgets.
• Lifeguard Instructor license preferred at time of hire, or must be acquired within 3 months of hire.
• CPO license preferred at time of hire, or must be acquired within 3 months of hire.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably within a hospitality or recreational environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of waterpark safety standards and regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or business preferred.

Working Requirements:

• Must have the availability to work all shifts, during normal operating hours of the water park. This includes evenings, weekends and holidays. (any prior commitments must be addressed before starting date).
• Must be able to stand for extended periods. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push and pull while performing job tasks. Must be able to lift 75 lbs or greater.
