Team Captain Off Field Operations
DICK'S SPORTING GOODS INC
Responsibilities Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by anticipating needs and providing clear, accurate product information; uphold merchandising and presentation standards; promote company programs. Collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to develop 30‑60‑90 day plans supporting business priorities for assigned departments; execute and adjust plans as needed. Communicate goals to direct reports, assign workload, monitor progress, and create effective schedules to meet athlete traffic demands. Build and lead a strong team; source, interview, hire, onboard, and retain direct reports; train and coach teammates; manage performance, conduct reviews, recommend promotions, enforce policies. Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures; hold teammates accountable for compliance. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. 1–3 years of retail/customer‑facing experience. Previous people‑leadership experience preferred. Pay & Benefits Targeted Pay Range: $49,500.00 – $63,500.00. Total rewards may include incentive, equity, and benefits. Pay determined by experience, location, and business factors.
