A better future?Job DescriptionGreater St. Louis , MO - PlantAs a member of the finance team, the accounting specialist will be responsible for working collectively with the Controller, Assistant Controller and Cost Accountant, and producing timely and accurate financial analysis and reports for a JIT manufacturing environmentThe Role:Your work will include, but not be limited to:Process weekly payroll along with all other payroll reporting and follow up responsibilities · Daily labor KPI analysis and reportingMonth-end Journal Entry preparation and Reconciliation and analysis of assigned General Ledger AccountsCollaborate with HR & Operations teams for Payroll data, as necessaryCross train in other areas of accounting to act as backup (Accounts Payable, etc.)Other administration, projects and duties as assignedAssist with Sarbanes Oxley auditing requirementsQualificationsYour Qualifications:Four-year degree in accounting or related fieldAt least 1 year of accounting experience preferredCandidate must possess strong attention to detail and follow up skillsDemonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple responsibilitiesAdaptable and able to perform in a fast paced and changing environmentAbility to set and meet workflow deadlinesAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience with Kronos Payroll Software, Coupa, SAP, and AS400 a plusEqual Opportunity EmployerLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit‑based employment practices and equal opportunity.We provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
