About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Operate FedEx line haul trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all federal and state driving regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and freight deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
• Ensure timely deliveries and pickups to meet customer expectations.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and routes.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
