Land Development Manager

Land Development Manager Lennar is a leading homebuilder dedicated to building quality homes and fostering a culture of opportunity. Your Responsibilities on the Team Responsible for the successful and timely delivery of new projects by applying construction schedules, contract documents, land development budgets, environmental studies, geotechnical reports, engineering and architectural construction plans and permit compliance reports. Work closely with the Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to deliver completed, ready-to-build home sites. Assist in the creation of development budgets during the entitlement process and value-engineer specific aspects of the project design. Develop working relationships with jurisdictional entities while maintaining land use and development rights. Oversee projects from permit approvals through construction, recording plat, final certification and community turnover. Oversee and manage all aspects of field operations related to land development including erosion control, grading, wet utilities, dry utilities, paving, sidewalks, landscaping, hardscaping, amenities, post‑construction as‑builds, certifications and compliance letters. HOA management including quarterly meetings, budget analysis and improvements to the common open space. Manage bond maintenance and retrieval of all types of guaranty used by the division. Coordinate with all departments to deliver amenity/recreation centers, common entry landscaping and ensure proper marketing windows. Responsible for SWPPP management and compliance. Regularly review project development budgets with Director of Development for reconciliation. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Land Development. Your Toolbox High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related program preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in land development. Computer literacy, including word‑processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling and data management software. Detail‑oriented and problem‑solver with ability to handle complex situations. Valid Driver’s License and good driving record. Valid auto insurance coverage required. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is essential. The role requires working in excess of eight hours per day in confined construction trailer spaces, operating a motor vehicle, reading plans, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, moving and carrying equipment up to 50 pounds, and occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. General Overview of Compensation & Benefits Annual base salary range: $53,109.44 – $119,495, subject to adjustment based on qualifications, geographic pay differentials and operational considerations.
