Agronomy Operations Manager

Mid Kansas Cooperative (MKC) is seeking an Agronomy Operations Manager to lead agronomy operations across assigned locations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service for our customers. This role provides leadership for application operations, inventory management, regulatory compliance, and employee development while supporting the growth of MKC's agronomy business. What You’ll Do Lead day-to-day agronomy operations, including spray rigs, tender trucks, and application services. Supervise, train, and develop spray rig operators and tender truck drivers. Oversee inventory management for seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and MKC safety standards. Maintain application quality and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner. Partner with agronomy sales teams to support customer success and territory growth. Manage budgets and operational performance for assigned locations. What We’re Looking For Strong leadership and team management experience. Knowledge of agronomy operations, including application equipment, crop inputs, and regulatory requirements. Experience with inventory control, safety programs, and operational planning. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field, or equivalent industry experience. CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and Custom Applicator License preferred or ability to obtain. Work Environment Combination of office and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Hands-on leadership role with operational responsibilities and seasonal demands.
