Residential Childcare Worker/Youth Advocate

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth? The Youth Service Bureau (YSB) is seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Child Care Workers / Youth Advocatesto join our team, working across several of our residential programs. You’ll play a vital role in supporting teenagers as they develop life skills, work toward their goals, and build brighter futures.

What You’ll Do

• Provide care and supervision for youth in Residential settings, ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive environment.

• Model appropriate and safe behavior tohelp residents develop healthy coping and communication skills.

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, administer medications as needed, and transport youthto appointments, school, and activities.

• Support residents in building key life skills such as anger management, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, peer relationships, employability, and goal achievement.

• Assist in individual, family, and group counseling sessionsas needed.

• Participate in recreational and therapeutic activitiesthat foster personal growth and community connection.
