General NotesThis is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship. Ability to work remotely within the state of Texas.
PurposeThis position will support the development and maintenance of Texas Foster Youth Network's (TXFYN) statewide service directory and provider network. They will work directly to engage providers, maintain up-to-date referral information, and support youth- and provider-facing outreach activities.
Responsibilities-
Conduct outreach to providers through calls, emails, and site visits. Serve as a point of contact for questions. Encourage active participation in Texas Foster Youth Network (TXFYN).
Attend outreach events, regional meetings, and community fairs to promote Texas Foster Youth Network (TXFYN), recruit providers, and strengthen community relationships.
Update and maintain the statewide service directory and referral tracking system. Ensure provider information is accurate, complete, and current.
Prepare materials, schedule meetings, track follow-up tasks, and assist with Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) coordination to support partnership development. Assist with the preparation and distribution of outreach materials. Support provider training efforts through logistics, material development, and attendance tracking.
Collect and report outreach metrics and monitor activity progress. Ensure provider engagement remains trauma-informed, youth-centered, and culturally responsive.
Participate in institute functions such as trainings, supervision, staff meetings, and events.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in social work, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in outreach and/or community engagement. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Values the contributions of others in the work environment. Knowledge of or experience with systems impacting foster youth. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of trauma-informed practices and youth development. Lived or work experience in foster care. Experience with systems impacting foster youth.
Salary Range$65,000 - $75,000 - depending on qualifications
Working Conditions-
May work around standard office conditions
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
Ability to work remotely within the state of Texas
