Financial Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:Coordinates and performs monthly financial close in accordance with GAAP and accrual accountingReviews income statements and balance sheets ensuring accuracy and completeness with ability to investigate and explain variancesManages cash activity including bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and bond operating transfersOversees reserves and reserve reimbursement requests with clear understanding of reserve structuresSupports annual audits, quarterly audit requests, SOX testing (as applicable), and lender/owner inquiriesEnsures compliance with financial, regulatory, and contractual reporting requirementsOversees financial operations, fund requests, and compliance reporting for communities in the preopening phaseAssists with acquisition onboarding, including review of previous financials, creation of initial budgets, coordination of utility transfers, and setup of new vendorsSupports new site onboarding with financial education and trainingDevelops and manages annual operating budgets using SolverPrepares budget-to-actual analyses, cost reports and financial compliance reports as requiredParticipates in ownership calls, budget presentations, and financial discussionsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or financeDemonstrates analytical skills with comprehension and application of GAAPDetail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsPrevious experience with senior housing preferredExperience with Solver, Intacct, or Yardi hosted property management software and other applications preferredBenefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefit packagesEmployee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)Employer-subsidized gym membership & wellness programEAP & Maven family planning program401(k) with biweekly employer matchOutside-In Employee Referral ProgramIntentional work-life balance supported with competitive Paid Time OffSelf-service payroll & tools (PayCom) #J-18808-Ljbffr
