Nesco Resource is looking for a Production Team Lead located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 6AM-4/5PM

Pay: $25/hour depending on Experience

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Lead to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting daily production operations, assisting supervisors, coordinating workflow, and ensuring quality and productivity standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have a strong production background, leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily workflow and assist with production scheduling and task assignments.
• Lead by example while performing production-related duties and supporting team operations.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor production activities and proactively communicate issues that may impact productivity or delivery schedules.
• Train and support team members on processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct quality checks and verify production output to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain production records, reports, and related documentation.
• Track and record production data accurately and ensure reports are completed on time.
• Maintain adequate materials and supplies to support uninterrupted production.
• Assist with the movement of materials and finished goods throughout the production process.
• Communicate team performance, productivity concerns, and operational challenges to management.
• Promote a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement, quality, and efficiency.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support operational excellence efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or production experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive leadership style and ability to motivate others.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Dependable and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production demands.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish Preferred
