Job Description

Our chemical manufacturing client is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Licensed Electrician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing and distribution facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while supporting Ecolab's commitment to operational excellence, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, controls, and equipment.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical components, motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, and production equipment.

• Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing and diagnostic equipment.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Install conduit, wiring, panels, switches, breakers, transformers, and related electrical infrastructure.

• Support facility improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and new equipment installations.

• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and company safety standards.

• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to improve equipment reliability.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation within computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.

• Respond to emergency maintenance situations as required.

• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, and other safety procedures.

Qualifications

Required

• Current Journeyman or Master Electrician License in PA.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial, manufacturing, or commercial electrical experience.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), PLCs, and automation equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

• Working knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and electrical safety practices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience in a manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial production environment.

• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC systems.

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.

• Technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field
