School Physical Therapist | Winter Garden, Florida

This contract opportunity offers flexibility, with the option to work full-time or collaborate with other part-time professionals to fulfill the needs of the district. This is an onsite position providing itinerant support across several campuses, working directly and indirectly with a diverse K-12 caseload, including some Pre-K students.

Start dates are flexible, with placements available as soon as possible and the potential to extend through the academic year. The district is moving quickly, actively scheduling interviews, and is eager to welcome dedicated therapists who are ready to contribute to student growth and success.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license required
• School-based PT experience preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability
• Familiarity providing both direct and indirect therapy services
• Ability to work with K-12 students (including Pre-K)
• Willingness to follow district onboarding and credentialing protocols

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality PT services to students across 2-3 schools daily (total of 35 schools split with additional staff)
• Manage a portion of a K-12 caseload (total of 94 students divided among team)
• Implement and document individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with educators and parents to support student success
• Participate in team meetings and contribute professional expertise
