Remote Management Consultant

Overview Emergency management leadership role focusing on planning, continuity of operations, crisis management, and all-hazards emergency management programs. The position involves evaluating and guiding strategic plans and ensuring readiness for classified and unclassified national security operations where applicable. This is a full-time contingent-upon-award opportunity with responsibilities spanning program evaluation, planning, and coordination with stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead and manage all-hazards emergency management programs to support continuity of operations and resilience across the organization. Develop, evaluate, and implement emergency management plans, procedures, and analyses; Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic intent and regulatory requirements; Provide consultation, guidance, and subject-matter expertise to leadership on emergency preparedness and response strategies; Conduct risk assessments, drills, and training to enhance organizational readiness; Support crisis management activities, incident command coordination, and recovery efforts as needed; Monitor program performance, prepare reports, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Experience in emergency management, continuity planning, risk assessment, or related programs. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs related to emergency management and continuity of operations. Experience working in fast-paced, challenging environments with the capacity to manage multiple priorities. Educational background in emergency management, homeland security, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
