About MRI Steel Framing

MRI Steel Framing is a manufacturer of cold-formed steel (CFS) studs and track, serving customers across the upper Midwest with other growing markets. Our Inside Sales team is the primary point of contact for customers placing orders and plays a key role in delivering a smooth experience from inquiry through production handoff.

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Data Entry Specialist plays a critical support role on the Inside Sales team, ensuring customer orders and quotes are entered accurately, completely, and on time. This role focuses on precision, speed, and consistency in processing order information so the broader sales organization and production team can operate seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter incoming customer orders into the company's order management/ERP system
• Verify order details (quantities, product specifications, gauges, dimensions, pricing) against submitted documentation for accuracy
• Organize and maintain order records, ensuring proper documentation is attached and filed
• Flag discrepancies, missing information, or unusual requests to the appropriate Inside Sales or Account Management team member
• Hand off completed and verified quotes and orders in a timely, organized manner
• Assist with maintaining customer and product data within internal systems
• Support the Inside Sales team with administrative and clerical tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree a plus
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Comfortable working in spreadsheets and order entry/ERP systems
• Solid organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple orders simultaneously
• Prior data entry, administrative, or order processing experience preferred but not required
  Compensation is structured as a base salary of $46K with a performance-based bonus that typically ranges from 5-10%.
