A skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room (OR) is needed for a contract opportunity. In this dynamic surgical setting, you will play a key role in patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Experience as an OR Nurse, including scrubbing and circulating
• BLS and ACLS certification (current/valid)
• In-depth knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver safe patient care throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control protocols
• Monitor patient status, anticipate surgeon needs, and respond swiftly to changes
• Provide education, comfort, and support to patients and families before and after procedures
