The Mobile Phlebotomist is an individual contributor responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients, primarily serving elderly care settings. This role requires daily travel within the local area and utilizes a combination of digital and paper systems to support workflow. The Mobile Phlebotomist ensures proper patient identification, sample labeling, and regulatory compliance while maintaining clear communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other specimens accurately and safely
• Verify patient identity to ensure correct specimen labeling
• Label and document samples properly in digital and paper systems
• Record data promptly and maintain thorough records
• Engage professionally with patients, focusing on elderly care
• Adhere to regulatory and health safety requirements
• Manage inventory of phlebotomy supplies
• Prepare and submit reports related to specimen collection

Required Qualifications

• Phlebotomy Certification

• Experience with venipuncture and specimen collection
• Strong patient interaction skills
• Knowledge of infection control and health and safety compliance
• Effective time management and attention to detail
