Key Responsibilities As a Senior Associate, you will be a vital member of the team executing financial diligence project work. Your duties include: analyzing financial data to identify key performance trends, discussing business performance and forecast assumptions with team management, and helping to write reports that set out findings and recommendations on key financial and business issues in a transaction. Additionally you will help develop staff and ensure their career development. Skills and Attributes for Success Ability to handle financial due diligence engagements. Experience analyzing financial and operational results through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management. Ability to identify negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring. Up-to-date knowledge on industry trends, technologies, and seasonality/cyclicality of cash flow to provide insight to clients. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills – processing, manipulating, and concisely presenting large amounts of data. Knowledge of Alteryx and Microsoft Power BI is a plus. Required Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience supported by an active CPA certification. Public accounting experience. Transaction experience is a plus. Excellent analytical skills and confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights. Ability to prioritize effectively on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges. Solid negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long‑lasting relationships internally and externally. Must reside in or be commutable to your office location. Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary. Ideal Candidate A proven record of excellence in audit and/or merger or acquisition transaction roles. Experience within another large professional services organization. Established networking skills in a relevant industry. Knowledge of leveraging firm‑approved AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, in a business setting. What We Offer A comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary ranging from $96,800 to $159,600 in most U.S. locations, and higher ranges for New York, Washington, and California. Includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a variety of paid time off options. A hybrid work model with an expectation of 40‑60% in‑person client serving engagement with flexibility.
