SAGE Redwood City is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Dermatologist to join our growing multi-specialty team. Located in the heart of the San Francisco Peninsula, SAGE Redwood City brings Specialty, Emergency, and Urgent Care together under one roof. Our hospital manages a busy and complex caseload and has cultivated a tight-knit culture where clinicians work together to provide exceptional care for patients, clients, and referring veterinarians.

You'll join a team of boarded specialists in Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery, alongside experienced Emergency and Urgent Care veterinarians. This breadth of expertise creates an ideal environment for multidisciplinary case management and opportunities to collaborate across specialties.

Our state-of-the-art hospital provides the infrastructure and technology to support advanced medicine, including in-house CT and MRI, five well-stocked operating rooms, and separate canine and feline critical care units.

In Your Day-To-Day, You Will:

• Manage a diverse dermatology caseload within a busy specialty and emergency referral hospital
• Diagnose and treat complex dermatologic conditions across a broad patient population
• Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans based on each patient's needs
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Emergency & Critical Care, and other specialty teams on complex cases
• Utilize advanced diagnostic capabilities and collaborate with other specialists when additional imaging or diagnostics are indicated
• Build strong relationships with referring veterinarians and serve as a trusted dermatology resource for the local veterinary community
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and long-term management
• Work closely with experienced veterinary nurses and support staff to provide seamless patient care
• Mentor technicians and support team members in dermatology-related patient care and case management
• Help grow and develop the dermatology service in alignment with hospital and community needs
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities through SAGE and the broader Ethos network
• Contribute to a collaborative hospital culture built on teamwork, compassion, innovation, and clinical excellence

What You Bring

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for California veterinary licensure
• Board Certification in Veterinary Dermatology or residency trained in Dermatology and board eligible
• Strong clinical and communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach
• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within a multidisciplinary specialty environment
• Commitment to exceptional patient care and the highest standards of veterinary medicine
• Interest in building meaningful relationships with referring veterinarians and the local veterinary community
• A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine
