Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery within the rehabilitation center, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modalities for pain management.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting treatment responses and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to meet therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective self-care strategies and proper use of assistive devices, ensuring a supportive, informed recovery process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to enhance comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.

• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety in all interactions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple patient cases effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist is required.

Compensation and Benefits
