Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years experience who can perform both CT and X-Ray procedures, including cardiac CT and ED imaging, and welcomes first-time travelers.

Details

• Community hospital setting supporting outpatient (adult and pediatric) and Emergency Department patient populations
• 3x12 hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• X-ray procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
• ED exams include outpatient CT/X-ray, cardiac CT (pulmonary vein CT, cardiac calcium scores), and perfusion studies
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment along with PACS and portable imaging systems
• EPIC EMR experience required
• May be asked to float to other Cone Health campus facilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist required
• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and ED experience required
• Must be able to start peripheral IVs, averaging 8-9 IV starts per day
• PACS, Portables, GE, and Siemens equipment experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred
• Samsung X-Ray experience preferred
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts allowed)
• Current driver's license required to verify address for local candidate policy

Additional Information

• Perform both CT and X-Ray imaging across a wide range of procedures for adult, pediatric, and ED patients
• Responsibilities include image display and post-processing, 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement
• Additional duties include contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, and adherence to isolation precautions/PPE
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
