Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid state certification or licensure for school social work
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to advocate for student needs
• Strong organizational and collaboration abilities
• Experience supporting special education or diverse learner populations is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one support to a designated student as a Paraeducator, focusing on both educational and socio-emotional goals
• Implement strategies developed by school social workers and special education teams to foster student engagement and success
• Monitor and document student progress, communicating effectively with all stakeholders
• Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and individualized programming as needed
• Support the student in developing coping skills, self-advocacy, and peer relationships
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Promote an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
