Key Responsibilities Lead the specification, design, implementation, testing, and validation of advanced power system protection schemes for high‑voltage networks. Develop and maintain protection coordination studies, relay settings, and fault‑analysis models using MATLAB/Simulink and industry standards. Collaborate with SCADA and PLC teams to integrate protection logic into control systems, ensuring compliance with IEC61850 and other regulatory frameworks. Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and provide subject‑matter expertise on protection strategy and equipment selection. Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and in technical publications, promoting best practices and emerging technologies. Requirements 10+ years of experience in power system protection engineering, with a strong background in relay design and fault analysis. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, PLC programming, and SCADA integration. Deep knowledge of IEC61850, IEEE protection standards, and protection coordination methodologies. Excellent communication skills, capable of leading technical teams and presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences.
