Accounts Payable SpecialistRevelyst is seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing full cycle AP, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, month end close and various other functions to support the accounting team. This position is expected to apply principles of accounting to maintain financial data related to Accounts Payable and General Accounting. Critical thinking and problem solving are the key to success.This position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and is based in our Irvine, CA headquarters.As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:Complete full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, securing approvals, entry, and paymentReconcile and match purchase order receipts to vendor invoicesMaintain vendor information, including year-end 1099 issuance and reportingCoordinate, organize, and maintain electronic vendor/employee expense files (invoices, payment records, supporting documents)Interact with internal and external auditors and provide support for auditing projectsComplete general ledger account reconciliations and sub-ledger maintenanceUse tax accrualsUnder the guidance of the AP Manager, serve as liaison between departments and vendors in the resolution of billing and vendor related issuesEnsure all payments are properly approved in accordance with the company's delegation of authorityParticipate in Accounts Payable's Month End CloseGenerate accrual list and corporate credit card accrual for Month End ClosePrepare weekly cash requirements, check runs, wires and ACH paymentsMaintain wire and ACH templatesMaintain various filing systemsPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the AP ManagerYou have:Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, procedures, internal controls and A-/P related regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills requiredAbility to analyze and solve problemsAbility to organize and prioritize and to meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills, listening and follow-up as well as the ability to interact professionally with individuals internally and externallyThe ability to work well in a team environment as well as independentlyMust have multiple companies work experienceExperience with SAP, Oracle, Net Suite (or similar inventory and ERP systems)Strong organizational ability and time management skillsExcellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detailAbility to plan, initiate and complete work assignments with minimal supervisionAssociates Degree, Bachelor's degree in Accounting a plusAbility to work on site in our Irvine, California offices at least 4 days per week.Pay Range:Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $27.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.We offer a highly competitive salary, comprehensive benefits including: medical and dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401K, PTO, paid holidays, gear discounts and the ability to add value to an exciting mission!Equal Opportunity Employer Protected Veteran/Disabled
