Nissan of Sumter is seeking an experienced Automotive Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our leadership team. This position is available because our current Finance Manager is being promoted into sales management, reflecting our commitment to recognizing performance and promoting from within.

We are looking for a proven F&I professional who can structure deals, maintain strong lender relationships, maximize profitability, and deliver an excellent customer experience while maintaining complete compliance.

Compensation: Competitive, performance-based pay plan with expected annual earnings of $135,000–$180,000+ . Actual earnings will be based on individual production, product penetration, department profitability, and overall performance.

This is not an entry-level F&I position. Applicants must have at least three years of automotive dealership F&I management experience. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Present financing and protection options to new and used vehicle customers
• Present F&I products professionally and transparently
• Maintain strong performance in PVR, product penetration, and overall profitability
• Ensure every transaction meets dealership, lender, state, and federal compliance requirements
• Review all contracts and supporting documents for accuracy and completion
• Work closely with accounting to ensure deals are funded quickly and correctly
• Monitor contracts in transit and resolve funding issues promptly
• Maintain productive relationships with banks, credit unions, and manufacturer lenders
• Support sales team 
• Protect the customer experience and maintain strong CSI results

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of successful automotive dealership F&I management experience
• Proven record of strong production and product penetration
• Strong understanding of automotive lending and compliance requirements
• Experience working with prime and non-prime lenders
• Strong deal-structuring, presentation, and closing abilities
• Experience with dealership management systems, electronic contracting, and lender platforms
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license
