Travel Therapist Opportunity Job Summary: Specialty: Behavioral Health Location: Clive, IA Duration: 13 weeks with potential to renew Full-Time, 40 hours per week, 5x8 schedule Shift: Day shift Enhanced hourly rate & tax‑exempt stipend where applicable Bi‑weekly pay Paid travel to/from assignment Opportunity for overtime Responsibilities Perform social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health Provide basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short‑term and long‑term family therapy, and provide referrals as needed Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients’ functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients’ treatment team Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations Qualifications Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or clinical related field Licensure/Certifications: Must be licensed in the state of Iowa – acceptable licenses: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
