About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12-hour (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: State License Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with Epic charting system required - Travel experience required - Weekend coverage as needed Description: The role requires providing nursing care in the labor and delivery setting. Tasks include supporting patients through high-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases. Responsibilities involve administration and monitoring of medications and therapies. Candidates must demonstrate competence in patient assessment and critical interventions. Additionally, the nurse will assist with various procedures and support patients and families. The position may require floating to other units within the service line. The nurse will participate in a collaborative interdisciplinary team approach to ensure quality patient care. Compliance with facility policies and patient care protocols is essential. This position requires flexibility in scheduling to meet unit needs.
