\n Northwest Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to be our Medical Director of our growing emergency medicine programs across multiple facilities in the Tucson, Arizona region. This is a unique opportunity to practice across a diverse system of hospital-based and free-standing emergency departments, offering a broad clinical experience, strong system support, and flexible scheduling across multiple practice settings.  \n

• Northwest Emergency Center – Marana (Free-standing ED)

• Northwest Emergency Center – Vail (Free-standing ED)

Northwest Medical Center – Tucson:\n

• Annual ED volume: ~51,100 visits
\n
• 1.8–2 patients per hour
\n
• 45 hours of physician coverage daily
\n
• 24 hours of APC coverage daily
\n
• ABEM-certified physicians required
\n

Northwest Medical Center at Sahuarita:\n

\n
• Annual ED volume: ~22,630 visits
\n
• 1.8 patients per hour
\n
• 27 hours of physician coverage daily
\n
• 10 hours of PA coverage daily
\n

Northwest Emergency Center – Marana:\n

\n
• Annual ED volume: ~10,220 visits
\n
• 12 private ED beds
\n
• ~1.2 patients per hour
\n
• 24 hours of physician coverage
\n

Northwest Emergency Center – Vail:\n

\n
• Annual ED volume: ~13,140 visits
\n
• ~1.5 patients per hour
\n
• 24 hours of provider coverage
\n

System Resources:\n

• Cerner EMR system
\n
• Full-service laboratory and imaging (CT, X-ray, and diagnostics)

• Integrated specialty support including cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, surgery, and more

• Designated Centers of Excellence for Chest Pain, Stroke, Joint Replacement, Spine Surgery, Bariatrics, and Breast Imaging
