Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Hiring Now: Diesel Mechanic – $30+/HR | Weekly Pay!

Aerotek is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a well-equipped, team-oriented industrial garage. Enjoy a steady Monday–Friday schedule (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines , air brakes , hydraulics , and electrical systems
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections to keep equipment running safely and efficiently
• Complete and document work orders, labor hours, and parts usage
• Conduct road tests and ensure repairs meet performance standards ✅
• Handle emergency breakdowns and roadside service calls
• Maintain records using fleet management systems
• Follow all OSHA and safety standards ⚠️
• Collaborate with a skilled team in a fast-paced shop

• 2+ years of diesel or heavy equipment repair experience (or equivalent)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• ASE certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Ability to obtain a CDL (Class A or B) within 6 months
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable using maintenance software and computers
• Ability to work hands-on and use your own tools

• Technical school, apprenticeship, or military training
• Multiple ASE certifications
• Experience with dump trucks, fire trucks, or heavy equipment

• $30/hour + weekly pay
• $0 health insurance premiums
• Annual raises (~3%)
• Additional pay bumps for each ASE certification (up to 8!)
• ASE test reimbursement

You’ll work in a busy, safety-first industrial garage , servicing a diverse fleet of heavy vehicles. Expect hands-on work with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems alongside experienced technicians.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
