If you're energized by continuous improvement, the ability to make a difference, being part of a dynamic team of leaders, and working for an employer of choice - then this with role is for you!Duties & ResponsibilitiesAnswering, screening, and transferring incoming phone callsReceiving and directing visitors and clientsMonitor/double check proper coding for daily attendance of hourly staff against system reportsAssist department heads in entering paper timesheets into systemTravel reservations and arrangements for corporate visitorsConsolidate weekly and monthly power point presentations from each Department manager for leadership presentationsAdministering the training tracking system in the HRIS system for all HR and Safety training as well as any other training provided such as OJT.Coordinating customer and supplier facility visits and ensuring all elements such as itineraries, meeting room setup, entertainment meals etc., are organized and successfully executedEnsuring the aesthetic presentation of the office, kitchen and meeting room areas are maintained at a high standardMaintain company auto/van log, reservations, keys and registration/insurance paperworkPerforming general clerical duties including photocopying, fax, and mailingOpening, sorting, and distributing incoming correspondenceMaintaining office supply inventories, as well as the marketing and culinary storage areasRecording and publishing meeting minutesUsing discretion and confidentiality in handling management mattersIn conjunction with department managers, producing the Company newsletterCoordinating maintenance of office equipmentCoordinating and maintaining records for key cardsSupports the COO and plant leadership as neededProcess all incoming mail at Lakeside facilityPerforms other duties as assigned within scope and abilityRequirements/Education/Experience/Skills)High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred3 - 5 years of experience in an administrative roleStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong Microsoft Office skills specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPointFluent in English (speaking/writing/reading), bilingualAbility to problem solvingSelf-started, able to take tasks and run with themDetail orientedSkills & KnowledgeComputer skills and knowledge of relevant softwareKnowledge of standard office equipment.Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keepingKnowledge of principles and practices of basic office managementWhat Sets Us ApartEstablished Food Industry Corporation with multiple US locationsStability of a Family-Owned Company for the last 40+ years Global opportunities across a fast-growing international corporationA true family environment where people care - about the work and each otherA high-energy, collaborative, team-driven culture focused on Customer Service, Employee Safety and Product QualityEmployee BenefitsCompetitive Compensation PlansComprehensive Insurance BenefitsRobust 401K Plan Employee Development, Continuing Education, Tuition ReimbursementGenerous Paid Time OffCommunity Involvement Opportunities Company Store to purchase our meat at discounts for your familyMyriad of additional employee discounts (cell phone, hotels, airfare, Broadway shows/event tickets etc.)Employee Events and Recognition ProgramsSalary Range: $24-$26 hourlyThis range represents the expected base salary rate for this position.
