Travel Speech Language Pathologist Location: Waterboro, Maine Duration: 20 weeks Hours: 37.5 hours per week (8‑hour shifts) Employment Type: W2 – Local or Travel Position Details: Specialty: Speech‑Language Pathologist (CCC SLP) Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP CF/CFY) Accepted: YES Facility Type: Public School District Responsibilities Diagnosis and therapeutic intervention of articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and voice. Working knowledge of strategies and accommodations to support students in inclusion settings. Collaboration with general education and special education staff, parents, and administrators. Use of diagnostic instruments appropriate for students. Support for students who use augmentative and adaptive communication strategies and devices. Write Individual Education Programs (IEP), including measurable annual goals and objectives. Participate as an effective member of the IEP team. Completion and maintenance of CCCs in SLP preferred. Working knowledge of state and federal regulations for disabled students. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of a master’s degree in a field related to Speech‑Language Pathology. State License as a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP). Educator/Teacher Certification if required by State or Department of Education. Prior school‑based experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist is strongly preferred. Experience as a School Based SLP – experience and training in diagnosis and therapeutic intervention. Experience with a variety of diagnostic instruments. Skill and experience working with augmentative and adaptive communication strategies and devices. Experience in writing IEPs with measurable goals. Knowledge of state and federal regulations for disabled students.
