Group Home Staff- Part Time

Position Summary Chrysalis is a company that provides a variety of support services for at-risk adults and/or juveniles with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This role requires the ability to work in stress-filled and safety-sensitive environments, follow approved programs, make crucial decisions regarding the care of at-risk individuals, and communicate effectively. The purpose is to help individuals gain greater independence by applying Chrysalis values: Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, and Accountability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Punctuality and consistent attendance at the worksite. Stay awake, responsive, and communicate effectively with individuals. Teach daily living skills to individuals. Plan appropriate activities for individuals. Create opportunities for people to increase quality of life. Provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment. Implement Person‑Centered Support Plans and follow behavioral plans. Supervise individuals according to guidance and support their choices. Assist and supervise individuals with medication. Complete administrative tasks within established time frames. Complete all required documentation for Chrysalis and the state. Maintain communication with the manager regarding individual needs. Follow Provider Code of Conduct / Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation Policy according to state standards. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Minimum age 18 years. Pass a criminal background check and LEIE per state regulations. Pass controlled substance tests. Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent public relations skills with families. Effective communication with medical, professional, and state employees. Good judgment and ability to handle crisis situations. Excellent interpersonal skills and maintain professionalism under pressure. Service‑oriented attitude.
