This role involves hands-on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise networking equipment across office and plant floor locations. Candidates must be comfortable working in industrial environments and wearing required PPE, including steel-toed boots and other plant safety gear.ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and install network infrastructure equipment including: Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, Voice Gateways, UPS systemsSupport break-fix, moves, adds, and changes activitiesPerform cabling, terminations, rack mounting, and patch panel installationsParticipate in network infrastructure deployment projectsConduct site surveys and assist in developing Statements of Work (SOW)Create and maintain network diagrams using Microsoft VisioTroubleshoot Ethernet, TCP/IP, fiber-optic, and structured cabling issuesWork collaboratively with project and infrastructure teamsRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience with Ethernet LAN topologiesMinimum 2 years of experience with TCP/IP protocolsHands-on experience with: Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points, Category 5e and Category 6 cabling, Fiber-optic cabling and troubleshooting, Cisco ISE, SolarWinds network management toolsProficiency with Microsoft Visio for network documentationStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to quickly learn new technologiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong teamwork and project coordination abilitiesExperience creating SOWs for networking projectsWork EnvironmentIndustrial/plant environmentCandidates must be comfortable working in manufacturing/plant floor conditionsPPE required in certain areas: Safety glasses, Hard hats, Steel-toed/metatarsal boots, Long sleeve shirts, Specialized FR/Arc-proof clothing where requiredAbility to lift and install networking equipmentValid Driver's License requiredCompensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
