We're looking for a Senior Photographer who sees more than a shot list. Someone who can find authenticity in a moment, personality in a pose, and emotion in the unexpected. Someone who knows when to chase the plan and when to follow the light. This role is for a photographer who wants to do more than capture images. You'll collaborate with designers, marketers, storytellers, and founders who still care deeply about the work. You'll help create everything from national campaigns and product storytelling to brand moments that celebrate the people who make optimism real. Requirements What You Know and Have Done You have at least 7 years of professional photo experience that included product photography (including laydowns and templates), eComm on-model photography, lookbook photography, and lifestyle editorial photography – primarily in-studio but on-location where applicable. You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator) and Capture One. You have an effective working knowledge of studio lighting, camera equipment, composition principles, and color management. You have hands‑on experience with still life, laydown, and on‑figure editorial photography. You have significant experience in model direction and on‑set management. You have excellent compositional skills and stay current with industry trends and visual culture. Why This Job Exists You are the creative engine behind the visual story of Life is Good. In partnership with the Director of Brand Creative and the Photo Studio team, you lead and execute high-quality photo shoots that bring our brand to life across eCommerce, social, catalog, and advertising. Your work ensures that every image we publish reflects who we are – optimistic, purposeful, and distinctly Life is Good. What You'll Do You serve as the primary photographer for on-model and lifestyle photo shoots, producing high-quality images that align to brand guidelines. You concept and plan sets for laydowns, on-model, and lifestyle shoots – from prep through production. You maintain exposure and color accuracy standards while managing a high volume of deliverables on schedule. You own quality assurance on images – catching issues before they reach final delivery. You manage equipment upkeep and studio cleanliness so the team can execute reliably, every day. You serve as the team administrator for the digital asset management system, providing training and guidance cross‑departmentally. You handle file maintenance with consistent naming conventions and output standards so assets are always findable and usable. You use AI-powered tools to accelerate image editing and retouching workflows, so your time goes toward creative decisions rather than repetitive tasks. You explore AI tools for concept development and visual direction – using them to rapidly generate mood boards, iterate on creative options, and expand possibilities before the shoot begins. You stay curious about emerging creative technologies and thoughtfully integrate them into the studio workflow to raise the quality and consistency of our output. You use AI to assist with asset tagging, organization, and search within our digital asset library, reducing time spent searching and improving cross-team access.
