Outside Driver Data Coordinator

Summary The Billing Coordinator V's main responsibility is to manage a billing portfolio of customers. The number of customers can flex at any time, but the analyst will remain aligned to the field finance manager. Job responsibilities may also vary customer to customer, dependent upon contractual requirements; they will need to collaborate with payroll specialists and run specialized audit reports to ensure data integrity before preparing final invoice documents. Customer materials may include customized invoice spreadsheets, KPIs that will allow them to more effectively manage their business, and other value-added internal and external customer reports. Job Category: Credit & Collections Essential Functions Analyzes customers' billing processes to discuss key aspects of financials in order to recommend key aspects of financial improvements, including reducing costs and maximizing profitability. Researches and resolves billing discrepancies and recommends process improvements. Generates KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and other statistical data for customers. Analyzes the various revenue buckets that are billed to customers on a weekly basis, including revenue and commodity code analysis. Confirms all contractual rates and quantities are accurate in the invoicing system. Conducts research and compiles data in order to prepare customized reports. Handles ad-hoc requests and special projects as necessary. Conducts weekly audits of route details which directly correlate to the customers' invoices. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field, Required. 2 years or more experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree, Required. Knowledge of Transportation Management preferred; financial and accounting procedures Intermediate, Required. Intermediate to Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs, Required. Proficiency in Adobe or equivalent electronic data management programs, Intermediate, Required. Compensation Information The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, education (including relevant degrees or certifications), work location, market data/ranges, internal equity, and internal salary ranges. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
