Details Located in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit that includes 17 private suites, 5 triage/PACU beds, 4 ORs, a 3-bed OB ED, and a specialized antepartum unit for high-risk and postpartum care Cares for high-risk patients before, during, and after childbirth 13-week contract with 36 hours per week Night shift: 7p–7a, 3x12-hour shifts per week Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license in KY or a compact state currently in hand Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation Minimum education: ADN or ASN (BSN preferred) Must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, individualized care planning, patient and family education, and coordination of admission, transfer, and discharge activities Nursing practice is evidence-based and incorporates all four phases of the nursing process with clinical autonomy within scope of practice Actively participates in unit-based quality improvement initiatives including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, and documentation auditing Delegates and oversees tasks performed by other care team members as part of an inter-professional team approach American Traveler Job ID #P-723771.
