Compensation: $58-$62/hour (pay is wrong at bottom of job posting, it is $58-62/hr)

We are seeking an experienced Kentucky Master Licensed Plumber to join our team as a Plumbing Superintendent for a large-scale industrial construction project in Louisville, KY. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing all plumbing field operations, managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining project schedules while promoting a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with extensive experience managing plumbing operations on large commercial or industrial construction projects.

• Lead and supervise all plumbing activities on a major industrial construction site.
• Manage field personnel, foremen, subcontractors, and daily work activities.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and workflow to meet project milestones.
• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trade partners.
• Ensure compliance with Kentucky plumbing codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections and resolve field challenges proactively.
• Monitor productivity, progress, and schedule performance.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.

Required:

• Active Kentucky Master Plumber License
• 10+ years of plumbing construction experience
• 5+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience
• Experience managing large commercial or industrial new construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, piping systems, and code requirements
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings

Preferred:

• Industrial piping or process piping experience
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Manufacturing, processing plant, or warehouse construction experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
