Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D), travel assignment in Templeton, CA, starting 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,607–$2,686 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This position is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care to obstetric patients in L&D, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Coordinate with physicians, midwives, and the health care team; delegate and supervise tasks as appropriate.
- Ensure patient safety, accurate documentation in the EPIC system, and strict adherence to standards of nursing practice and hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, care plans, and newborn care; participate in care coordination and discharge planning.
- Support and participate in the LDRP model of care and maintain readiness for emergencies.

Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program; current California RN license
- BLS certification; ACLS and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring required on hire and every two years; for nurses new to L&D, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring within first 6–8 months of orientation
- EPIC experience required
- One year of recent acute care RN experience
