Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) opportunity in Lowville, New York. This travel assignment starts on 08/24/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,131 to $2,290, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The shift is nights, 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 pm–6:00 am). Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery, including fetal heart rate monitoring and progression of labor
- Assist with all phases of labor and delivery, including vaginal births and cesarean procedures as medically indicated
- Administer medications and interventions within scope of practice; manage anesthesia-related tasks as trained
- Perform routine assessments, document findings, and maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and support staff to ensure patient safety and high-quality care
- Provide postpartum care, family education, and discharge planning as appropriate
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York State
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Experience in obstetric/maternity care preferred
- Ability to work nights and the listed schedule (3x12-hour shifts with potential weekend coverage)
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
