The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in Labor and Delivery. Charting will be done using the Epic system. The nursing staff will play a crucial role in patient care for both mothers and neonates. Skills needed include administration of blood products, amnioinfusion, and management of epidural anesthesia. Nurses will assist with high-risk deliveries and perform sterile vaginal exams. The environment may include multiple births and support for breastfeeding and lactation. The ability to manage various medications, including magnesium sulfate and insulin drips, is essential. Candidates should have experience with postpartum hemorrhage management and fetal heart rate monitoring. The position includes a commitment to safety protocols and patient education. Flexibility to cover weekend shifts is required.
