Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with Neuro/Spine experience for a hospital Main OR position requiring proficiency with robotics and endovascular procedures.

Job Details

• Main OR setting supporting Neuro/Spine, Ortho, and Vascular surgical cases,
• 1:1 patient ratios,
• Uses OR equipment including Globus and Mazor robotics for spine, and Mako for joint procedures,
• Cerner EMR used,
• Day shift schedule from 06:00 to 16:30,
• On-call requirements evenly distributed by the coordinator,
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist,
• BLS certification (AHA only),
• License required if applicable,
• Experience with craniotomy and endovascular procedures required,
• Experience with Neuro/Spine, Ortho, and Vascular surgical cases required,
• Experience with Globus, Mazor robotics, and Mako systems required,
• Da Vinci robotics, maxillofacial, and sports medicine experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Support surgical teams across Neuro/Spine, Ortho, and Vascular specialties in a Main OR setting,
• Scrub color requirement of ceil blue or royal blue,
• Fleece, hoods, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and nail polish are not permitted,
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies for candidates in Alabama,
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
