Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN

Role Summary The Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radio pharmaceuticals, ensuring patient safety and care. Responsibilities include preparing and administering radioactive isotopes, operating scanners and scintillation cameras to produce organ images, positioning patients, and explaining procedures compassionately. The technologist assists with patient transport and maintains knowledge of GAMMA cameras. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED and graduation from an AMA-Approved Nuclear Medicine Technologist program Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) registry and BLS certification Preferred minimum of one year recent experience in nuclear medicine Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
