Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited educational program.
• Active Florida PTA license required or license eligible.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Ability to follow established treatment plans and consult with supervising Physical Therapist.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Progress patients safely through treatment within patients' maximum capabilities.
• Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding progress and changes in patient condition.
• Document all treatment and pertinent patient interactions in accordance with clinic policies.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding home programs and activities.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with the patient, family, and rehabilitation team.
• Collaborate with teammates to grow clinical skills and clinic culture.
