Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Crewe, VA. Work Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with a 30‑minute lunch. Thursday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program or a minimum of 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must be accredited Must pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to additional sites when required Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
