Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing diagnostic interviews and standardized assessment tools. Design and implement tailored individual therapy plans that aim to address identified challenges and promote overall mental health and wellness. Set therapeutic objectives in partnership with clients, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment methods as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Document all client interactions and treatment plan updates clearly and accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure seamless communication within the care team. Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision sessions to refine your therapeutic skills and stay informed about the latest evidence-based practices. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily work with diverse adult, child, and adolescent populations, addressing a broad range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflicts, and relationship challenges. Your therapeutic approach will be guided by the specific needs and goals of your clients, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe and inclusive space for personal exploration. Qualifications A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field. A current and valid license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Connecticut. At least two years of post-graduate experience providing therapy to individuals and families. Proficiency in therapeutic methods that cater to both adult and adolescent populations. Preferred Experience Ideal candidates will possess a track record of delivering high-quality, client-centered care and demonstrate experience with community health initiatives. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy practices is a plus, as we prioritize efficient and effective service delivery.
