RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

RN Cath Lab - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 4x10-Hour shift (07:00 - 17:30)

We are seeking a skilled RN with experience in the Cath Lab to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess a strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and be capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer sedation as needed and monitor procedural sedation.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 18 months of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS (must obtain prior to start).
• Experience in EP and Vascular preferred.
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10 panel + nicotine drug screen required.
