Technical Artist

Focused on performance optimization, the full-time remote Technical Artist will set budgets and best practices for real-time projects, ensuring high-quality content operates at target framerates on specified hardware. Key responsibilities Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to establish best practices for real-time content authoring Design and maintain performance profiling systems, documenting diagnostics and solutions Advise on performance strategies and contribute to the standardization of tools and workflows for optimization Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in game development, film, or interactive media Experience with real-time project development from start to finish Strong understanding of real-time rendering engines like Unreal Engine or Unity Knowledge of content optimization techniques and source control systems such as Perforce Proficiency in tool development using Python, C#, C++, or visual scripting tools
